This is a collection of some of the projects I've been working on recently to showcase my work and my expanding Tech Stack as I continue to develop my skillset and experience
Since October 2022 I have been building WordPress sites for Visions Design from conception to completion using the Foundation framework and SCSS. ACF Pro allows me to build flexibly, with the clients' needs in mind
While I'm comfortable using page-builder plugins such as Elementor, I find that they actually slow me down as ironically they don't offer the flexibility I require.
Here are a few examples of my recent work.
A fast-growing tax consultancy practice in the UK specialising in R&D projects.
This project required me to up my JavaScript game as the client requested quite a few dynamic features in terms of interactivity such as the 'Meet The Team' section on the homepage.
A specialist recruitment consultancy working across the property and construction market with the USA.
This was a great opportunity for me to learn more about building filters, which wasn't something I had much experience with and proved more difficult than I first expected!
Kent based, Italian-trained specialist contractors of high-end Venetian plaster
The challenge here was clever use of custom post types and ACF to make sure elements of design could be re-used throughout the site without the client having to duplicate content
High quality care homes for the elderly, with a special focus on dementia care.
This build was relatively straightforward as I had planned it out in collaboration with the design team and the client.
A company designed to help smaller companies scale up through establishing culture.
This was a tricky project due to tight deadlines - the client required their site operational in time for a conference. Luckily, no real compromises were necessary, simply a bit of 'crunch time' and implentation of 'Calendly'.
Making interior design affordable, with a focus on playrooms, childrens bedrooms and nurseries.
This was the first WordPress site I developed for Visions Design and it was an absolute pleasure to work on. I'm still in communication with the client as there's a few more things to be done to fully optimise the site for performance.

My final showcase project for Northcoders. This is a full stack mobile app created with React Native and Expo.
Full stack example news site built using ReactJS, Express, Node.js. This was a real challenge to finish!
A simple and fun memory game suitable for all ages, built using vanilla JavaScript as I grew more confident.
An brief refresher in HTML and CSS before being carried away with the possibilities of JavaScript.
